Originally a Wyomingite, Ali went to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME and now lives in Boston. She works on the Communications team of the Boston Public Health Commission and enjoys spending time with her puppy, Quito. Her favorite books include Glennon Doyle’s Love Warrior, Brené Brown’s Rising Strong, Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic, and Sebastian Junger’s Tribe.
Emily lives in Boston and is a 5th grade teacher for Natick Public Schools. She graduated from Bowdoin College in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology and from Simmons College in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Teaching. When not in the classroom, Emily loves to run, pretend to be good at yoga, eat, read, spend time with friends, and participate in the (not so) occasional Netflix binge.
Laney graduated from Amherst College in 2016. After a year working as a marketing associate at a media agency in Chicago, she decided to move back east. Laney loves Orioles baseball, country music, New England autumns, and Zumba.
Luisa grew up in Colorado, but moved to the east cost to attend Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. She has now lived in Boston for three years, working in advertising for a year and then attending graduate school where she earned her Masters in Public Health from Boston University. Luisa loves spending time outdoors year-round, as some of her favorite activities are hiking and skiing.
Matt graduated from Bowdoin College in 2014 and, after a year of traveling, began working at Silicon Valley Bank in Boston. Away from the office, Matt spends his time playing basketball and golf, hiking, and debating with friends (or anyone who will listen). Despite having lived in Boston since 2016, Matt maintains strong ties to his hometown of Baltimore from which he gets his love of Old Bay seasoning, National Bohemian (“Natty Boh”) beer, and Orioles baseball.
Unable to part with the ocean for long, Mollie moved back to Boston after graduating from Skidmore College. She works on the Women’s Health Team at Fenway Health — an LGBT health center. Mollie spends her weekends hiking with friends, watching documentaries, and slowly but surely learning to cook.
